YuHoTa kaolin haemostatic gauze is a haemostatic dressing made by impregnating medical gauze with kaolin mineral. Used to treat bleeding from trauma and surgery, the kaolin in the gauze activates coagulation factor XII in the blood upon contact, promoting coagulation factor reactions and accelerating the blood clotting process, thereby achieving rapid and effective haemostasis. As such, it is widely used in first aid, surgical procedures, battlefield medicine and pre-hospital emergency care to assist healthcare professionals in effectively controlling bleeding within a short timeframe and reducing the risk of blood loss.
