Surgical scrub brushes extremely efficacious in lowering healthcare-associated infection rates. Surgical hand scrub significantly reduces the number of microorganisms on the hands and forearms prior to surgery or patient care.It is very effective at removing dirt from skin and under nails during a surgical scrub. It also can be used after surgery on occasion.
Surgical scrub brushes have a dry brush, a wet brush with chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG) or a wet brush with Povidone Iodine (PVP-I).

User Manual

 

	Wet hands, wrists and forearms to the elbows with water. Hands should be held higher than the elbows at all times.
	Clean under nails with nail pick provided.
			Scrub the nails, cuticles and interdigital spaces between the fingers, hands and forearms or 3 minutes in total. * Scrub for an additional 4 minutes with using the sponge side only.
	Use the brush side to clean the nails, cuticles and interdigital spaces between the fingers and the sponge side to scrub the hands and forearms. Wet sponge and squeeze to work up lather.		Rinse the hands, wrists and forearms with plenty of water.
			Dry with a sterile towel from hands to elbows. Hold hands upwards.
